Our Firefighter/EMTs serve an all-hazard district performing emergency medical services, conducting fire suppression and prevention, hazardous materials response, and technical rescue. Whetstone does maintain a well trained and equipped wildland firefighting crew available for rapid nationwide deployment.

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older

• Possess a valid AZ driver’s license

• Highschool Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent

• NREMT or AZ State EMT-B/Paramedic certification

• HAZMAT FRO certification

• Fire I&II certification

• Wildland Firefighter Type II certification
